From my first appointment with Gill i new i was in good hands. Gill explained every option for my surgery and let me know what to expect, she really put me at ease, as i had no information prior to seeing Gill. My pre opp appointment was where i had my marking done for my stoma, again the kindness that was shown was second to none, again putting me at ease. The next time we met was after surgery when your not feeling well and not yourself, Gill's kindness and compassion shone through again. People like Gill don't apply for these kind of jobs, they are given them because they are special people. From my first meet to my ongoing aftercare Gill has been exceptional Thanks Gill ❤

Gill was always there when needed. Extremely helpful and more importantly friendly in sorting out all the equipment needed after surgery and is always at the end of the phone if needed. She is a credit to Harrogate Hospital.

Gillian Wilson is kind caring compassionate .. listens to the patient and listens to the families carers involved in there care. She involves all aspects of the multi disciplinary team ensuring a first class care plan and always puts the patient in the centre ensuring they get the highest quality of care

From the minute Gill introduced herself to me in Harragate hospital before my surgery, I could tell that this nurse was dedicated, honest and reliable. During my stay at Harragate I did not have the best experience to be honest, but Gill was there for me every step of the way, she never let me down and often sorted issue s out that she really could have stepped away from. I would have been totally lost without this nurse, to the point she solely won me round and redeemed my trust in the Hospital. A massive thanks Gill you truly are a amazing person and nurse.
